- Course objectives
- The main goal of the course is to give the widest possible overview of contemporary Czech animation, as much as possible in an authentic and direct way. Emphasis is placed on depicting the scope of contemporary animation and the number of forms in which it appears. The lectures will be complemented by short animated films, as it is not possible to talk about animation without the animation itself.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will learn to observe what is happening in contemporary Czech animation from many perspectives. They get to know the main characters and expand their awareness of the possibilities of the form of animation itself. It is important to realize that Czech animation did not end its golden age in the last century.
