Course objectives
Modern stylistics is considered to be a discipline dedicated to the choice of means adequate for the given speech act, and these means form a structured whole. One of the aims of the lecture is to present to the students basic notions in stylistics, its means and methodes.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Po úvodním seznámení s obecnou stylistickou problematikou se přednáška zaměří na konfrontaci jazykových systémů dvou nepříbuzných jazyků - francouzštiny a češtiny. Ve středu pozornosti bude analýza některých specifických problémů, které se objevují při převádění z jednoho jazykového systému do druhého: vyjádření charakteru slovesného děje, užívání slovesných časů, funkční perspektiva výpovědi, komplexní pojmenovací jednotky atd. Bude přihlédnuto i k jednotlivým funkčním stylům. Přednáška bude v dalším semestru doplněna seminářem zaměřeným na praktickou aplikaci teoretických poznatků.
