The course requires fluency in French. Consequently, it is only open to at least second year students.

Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain grammar and linguistic practical problems ; make deductions based on acquired knowledge.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, a student should be able to :
- identify and summarize the topics studied ;
- write an essay deepening one of the studied topics in the semester.
Syllabus
  • Each session includes short and varied exercises in French grammar, but not only: recourse to other languages will be made to illustrate phenomena not tested in French. The course takes place every week: one or two exercises are distributed and the students must prepare them for the following lesson.
