Course objectives
The aim of the course is to improve students' orientation in notation software and at the same time peak into problematic notation elements of both older and contemporary music.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: 1) assess suitable software for transcribing sheet music according to the length, complexity and requirements of the possible client; 2) make a musical notation exactly as specified; 3) recognize and name current notational elements; 4) write down adequate chord marks for the accompaniments (including guitar notation), 5) mark the specifics (playing technique) of selected instruments in the sheet music.

Assessment methods
Seminar assignments. The condition for completing the course is the submission of a pre-selected and subsequently transcribed sheet music sample in the notation software.
