- Course objectives
- Student will be able to recognize the structure of critical publicistic texts, will be able to write scholarly, critical text (critical review for example), he/she will be able to work with references, hypertext lins.
- Syllabus
- 1. About critique. General structure of scientific article.
- 2. How to write a good headline, annotation, perex, appendix. Secondary headlines create thematical structure of an article. 3. Introduction to text structure: theme introduction, text interpretation and analysis, evaluation, conclusion.

- Teaching methods
- The classes are seminars, where students are introduced into main genres. They analyze sample texts and get feedback on their own writings.
- Assessment methods
- classified semester paper (8000–10000 characters) 3 homeworks attendance: only 1 authorized absence is allowed. Student has to writte another text (5000 signs).
