- Course objectives
- The course topic is quite unique and represents a unique combination of educational psychology with disciplines such as design, learning environments, psychology of reading, gamification, UX and other areas. The emphasis is on self-reading and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to the design of educational activities. The course is not taught to this extent anywhere outside of KISK. It is largely covered by the monograph Pedagogical-Psychological Issues in Online Education. The aim of the course is to introduce the basic concepts and possibilities of pedagogical psychology in online education, but also topics more closely related to this concept (e.g. sociability, cybernetics, gamification, ...). The emphasis will be on the connection between education through web services and pedagogical psychological determinants.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student is able to: work critically with educational psychological literature design digital learning objects and processes with psychological aspects in mind understand the differences between online and face-to-face learning critically assess and analyse existing courses collaborate in an online environment use Bloom's taxonomy for digital environments choose an appropriate research tool to monitor the variables reflected in the course

- Teaching methods
- The course is designed as an e-learning course. Each week students work on selected topics they read about and: submit a short reflection on the reading apply theoretical knowledge to a specific situation in an online environment and reflect briefly There is a group meeting three times during the semester.

- At least 80% of assignments turned in, attendance at meetings (can be online) and a final project.
