Course objectives
Basic theoretical knowledge about Slovene syntax in comparison to Czech syntax.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate the knowledge of Slovenian syntax, have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of linguistics, have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of comparative study of Slavonic languages, be familiar with Slovenian grammar, and contrast and compare Czech and Slovenian language.

  • Syntax Sentence, clause. Proposition. Idiom. Typology of clauses. Word order.
