- Course objectives
- Students are obliged to demonstrate their language proficiency (in two foreign languages) on a C1 level of the EER (English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian). Upon agreement with the supervisor (or the doctoral committee) students may achieve the required level of language ability in one of these ways:
1) by presenting a paper at a scholarly conference or publishing an article in a foreign language.
2) pass a language course in one of the languages set under the terms of CJV MU (completion: exam).
3) presenting a certificate documenting the knowledge of a foreign language (C1) - Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to demonstrate their language competence in a scholarly communication in a foreign language and will be able to work with a foreign-language text in an active and passive way, and discusse in a foreign language with the audience.
- Syllabus
- Upon agreement with the supervisor students will present a paper at a scholarly conference or publish a paper in one of the world languages. The language of the paper must obtain a positive evaluation by the reviewer. Or they will pass a language course in one of the languages set under the terms of CJV MU (completion: exam). Or they present a certificate documenting the knowledge of a foreign language (C1).

- Literature is assigned on an individual basis based on the topic of the thesis.

- Independent work, consultations with the supervisor. / Foreign language course. / Certificate.
