It is necessary to pass Jazykový seminář katalánštiny VI (KJIA006) or prove at least a B2 level in Catalan language. - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of this subject is to provide the student with the gramatical and communicative knowledge of a B2+/C1.1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This means that the course will adress several grammatical and lexical aspects, as long as oral and writing expression or oral and writing comprehension contents.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will have to:
- be able to show fluency and spontaneity while communicating in several everyday situations and most of the professional ones
- understand oral and written texts of various topics, quite long and complex
- produce well-written texts, well-structured and detailed of various topics, with a correct ortography and grammar
- be able to adapt both to formal and informal communicative situations. - Syllabus
- 1. Writing genres
- 2. Substantive and adjective
- 3. The sentence and the verb
- 4. Pronouns and syntactic functions
- 5. Word formation
- 6. Idioms and expressions
- 7. Ortographic questions
- Teaching methods
- Seminars, homework, papers, oral and writing comprehension practice, oral expression practice, reading of a Catalan literary work.
- Assessment methods
- Practical exercices, involment during the seminars, final exam. The student must have at least a 70% of correct answers to pass.
