Course objectives
The aim of the course is an advanced Chinese language training with the use of real material from Taiwanese and Chinese popular culture.
Learning outcomes
1. Students will have gained a deeper knowledge and understanding of the cultures of the Chinese world. 2. Students will have developed new insights into the nature of language and culture that will allow them to establish comparisons not only between languages, but also between the Chinese cultures and their own.

The course is taught by a native speaker who combines various methods of teaching - class discussion, conversations and oral presentations.
Assessment methods
1. Attendance policy: Missing max. 1 session is tolerated. Exceeding the limit automatically results in Failure. 2. Presentation : Please see the presentation rules.
