- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to ... - provide insights into the work of important 'multilingual' authors of German literature - to reflect and analyse forms and functions of multilingual writing practices in literary texts - provide insights into discourses on multilingualism in 'post-migrant' German and Austrian society - to work out findings and positions of academic literature on the topic - to gain a more complex concept of language through reflection on multilingualism
- Learning outcomes
- Students have an overview of different forms of multilingual literature, they have insight into the work of different multilingual writers and actual research on multilingual literature. The students recognize and reflect on different forms of multilingual writing practices in literary texts, can examine them for their function and analyze them independently. They can also do this in writing within the framework of a seminar paper. The students are also independently multilingually productive.
