Course objectives
The objective of this course (Practical Dutch III/1) and the follow up course (Practical Dutch III/2) is to reach level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. All basic language skills (reading, listening, speaking, writing) are practised. The focus is on vocabulary training but also grammar knowledge is repeated, extended and practised.
Learning outcomes
At the end of Practical Dutch III/1 and III/2, students have acquired an extensive vocabulary and master the grammar of Dutch. They perform at level B2 on all four skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading). See the CEFR for can-do statements.

At the end of the semester there is a final written test that can only be taken if the following requirements are met:
- presence (max. 2 absences) and participation
- all homework submitted on time
- passing tests during the semester
