Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to use the information about the Scandinavian literature for children and young adults in the period after the WWII until now. Focus: Norwegian autors
Learning outcomes
To identify the main development tedences in the children and youth literature in Scandinavia
To analyse the methods and attachments at the national Institutes for children literature (Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen)
To reflect the interaction between text and illustration,book design
The relevance of the international children book prizes (AAA, August priset)
Syllabus
  • The aim of the course is the panorama of the children literature in Scandinavia, especially in Norway.
  • The texts for various age, in various genres, will be presented in original language and in Czech translations.
