Course objectives
The course focuses on practicing and expanding vocabulary on given topics, and gaining an overview of basic Norwegian grammar and pronunciation rules.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
- Use written and spoken Norwegian in simple language situations;
- Understand basic morphological and syntactic structures;
- Apply basic pronunciation rules when speaking.
The expected level of the student upon successful completion of the course according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1.
Syllabus
  • Conversations and simple texts related to everyday life topics, such as presentations, my day, body and health.
  • Practice of pronunciation and intonation, listening skills, phonetic rules.
  • Basic morphological and syntactic patterns and structures.
