- analytically process empirical data. - Syllabus
- It is a selective course for doctoral students in the full-time form of study. The aim of the course is to support students to prepare a professional article for a journal during the semester at least at the level of a list of peer-reviewed non-impact periodicals.
- The course will be organized in the form of regular group meetings. At the beginning of the course, students will get acquainted with the general principles of professional writing and with the editorial mechanisms of professional journals. Each student then chooses a magazine for which to prepare an article. Furthermore, students will prepare their texts in gradual steps and in individual phases they will be provided with feedback both from the teacher and from other students in the course. The goal is collaborative learning, where individuals also learn by following the progress of their colleagues and have the opportunity to influence it.
- Before enrolling in the course, students must submit a project of their future article in the form of an abstract. If it is to be an empirical study, students must further demonstrate that they have the data on which the article will be based and describe what data it is and how it was obtained. If it is to be a theoretical study, students must attach a list of literature with which they intend to work. Students will be selected for the course based on the quality of their author's intentions. There will be a maximum of four students in a group.
- The output of the course is an article sent to the review process. Students will receive an extraordinary scholarship for the successful completion of the course in the form of sending an article. The course is worth 20 credits.
