Prerequisites
The prerequisite of the seminar is the knowledge gained in the area of the Portuguese linguistics during the bachelor studies.

The students should be able to translate various types of texts as, for example, journalistic, economic, diplmatic, judge;
Learning outcomes
As a result the students will be able to translate various types of texts.
Syllabus
  • 1. stylistic a textual linguistic; the basic division of the texts types (according to the function linguistic); 2. analyse and debate of the selected texts: rhetorical, administrative, legal, diplomatic, scientific, journalistic; 3. translation of the selected texts.

Teaching methods
Theoretical part: reading of the linguistic texts Practical part:analyzation ot texts, translation and interpretation of the selectes texts.
Assessment methods
Students will be evaluated on the basis of completed translations and active participation in classes. Ending the subject will only be allowed for those who do not exceed two unexcused absences.
