- Course objectives
- The course focuses on the issue of Spanish-Czech equivalence with special attention to the structural differences between the two languages (word order, the construction of complex sentences and their adequate translation), as well as specific spelling phenomena (punctuation, capitalization, etc.).
- Learning outcomes
- Students will learn to approach the text critically and avoid mechanical and literal translation from Spanish into Czech, which results in a poor quality and stylistically unacceptable text despite a correct understanding of the original and the choice of adequate expressions.
