- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to train the students for a complex preparation of a three-days long excursion focused on issues connected with religion. The excursions should be planned for selected regions of the Czech Republioc, with an optional visit of sites abroad. The course is based on a semestral project work of student teams. The final outcome of the course is a complete plan of a virtual excursion, including propagation materials and detailed logistics. Particular components of the preparation are presented by the students during the course.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the students will be able: - to prepare a specialized heuristic search for sources useful for tourism - popularize specific knowledge related to religious studies to the target group - motivate the participants of the virtual tour to explore the related issues - to work in team - to practically prepare a three-day excursion focused on religion

- Introductory info about the course, student teams • Seminar discussion about the thematic content of the planned excursions • Itinerary and time schedule • Thematic stops of the excursions • Search for special sources - scholarly literature, film documents • Aktivization of the participants (in the bus, on the spot) • Logistics ofthe excursion (transport, accommodation) • Calculation of the price • Propagation materials • Team presentation of the virtual excursion

- Assessment methods
- Continuous work of the students is expected, all partial tasks are uploaded to the Elf system. The final results of the course will be presented in two ways: 1) Structured presentation uploaded to Elf, the presentation is a teamwork, all members of the team have to present their respective part. 2) Individual task, which is a part of the planned excursion. This task is particularly discussed during the colloquium. (Members of the same team do not have to take part on the same date).
