  • Cílem přednáškového kurzu je seznámit posluchače se základními problémy, terminologií, předmětem a metodami religionistiky. Nastiňuje též postavení tohoto oboru v kontextu dalších příbuzných nauk, zejm. filosofie, teologie a historie. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována vnitřní systematizaci religionistiky, a to jak v historickém ohlédnutí, tak v současnosti. Kurs podává přehled o dějinách náboženství, sociologii náboženství, psychologii náboženství, fenomenologii náboženství, geo-grafii náboženství a kulturní antropologii.
