- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to familiarize students whit the basic theoretical and practical aspects of Spanish language teaching.
- Learning outcomes
- Students are aware of relevant specialized bibliography, they are familiar with basic concepts in applied linguistics, and they are able to make a proper use of them in practice. They receive general knowledge and skills that are necessary for the further development as part of a follow-up study.

- Theoretical bases: 1. Introduction to the discipline of applied linguistics with a focus on teaching Spanish 2. Methodological approaches in foreign language teaching 3. The teaching process 4. The 4 language skills 5. Didactic materials Seminar and workshops: 1. Selection and preparation of instructional materials 2. Activities and exercises 3. Teaching process simulation
