Course objectives
The aim of the course is to learn students how to recognize the individual phonemes and morphemes of Czech sign language and to write it down using the most common notation systems and glosses as well.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course, students will know the historical context that influenced the various ways in which sign languages has been captured. Students will be familiar with the basic rules and notation of sign languages using the Bébian Mimography, Stokoe Notation System, SignWriting, Hamburg Notation System, and glossing. Students will be able to interpret writing of signs using listed systems.
