- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to learn students how to effectively interpret in the team.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing this course teh students will be familiar with techniques and rules of simultaneous interpreting between Czech and Czech sign language, interpreting the team and providing effective feedback.
- Syllabus
- 1) The purpose of the team in interpreting.
- 2) Forms of the team interpreting.
- 3) The role of a deaf interpreter in a team.
- 4) Team interpreting rules.
- 5) Team support (help, rotation, role of individual interpreters).
- 6) Team preparation for the assignment.
- 7) Feedback principles and rules.
- 8) Team interpreting training (simultaneous interpreting between Czech and Czech Sign Language)
