I. Archivní teorie a metodika a) Základní pojmy (archiv, archiválie, archivistika, archivnictví, kancelář, registratura, spisovna, správní archivy) b) Evidence archiválií (předarchivní dohled, skartace, základní pořádací principy, fond, sbírka, archivní manipulace, jednotný archivní fond, archivní pomůcky) II. Archivní informatika jako nauka o využívání archiválií (studijní řád v archivech, badatelna a její úkoly, propagace, vědecká činnost, edice - archeografie) III. Dějiny a organizace československého archivnictví (legislativa, výchova archivních pracovníků) IV. Archivní technika (archivní budovy a vybavení archivů, konzervace a restaurování archiválií)
