Course objectives
This lecture is a development of FJ0B712 (Literature and Identity: Different Regards on the Culture of Quebec).
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Přednáška bude kombinována se seminární formou práce u vybraných teoretických a literárních textů. Zaměří se především na tyto problémy: 1) Anglicko-francouzské kulturní vazby v Kanadě od 19. stol. 2) Francouzsko-kanadská identita a Francie. 3) "Klidná revoluce" a její aspekty (politika, školství, kultura, literatura, jazyk). 4) Quebecká identita v literatuře: divadlo a próza. Přednáška bude doplněna četbou a rozborem vybraných děl (Aquin, Carrier, Dubé, Ferron, Fréchette, Gélinas, Hébert, Hémon, Poulin, Roy,Thériault, Tremblay, aj.).

  • Literaturu zadá vyučující.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Zápočet - referát. Zkouška - ústní ze zadané literatury. Pokud si posluchač přednášku zapíše, je účast povinná.
