Course objectives
This course gives a basic orientation in historical, theoretical and practical problems of music notation as the main communication means in music. It deals also with the problems of identification of various kinds of notation and with the ways of their transcription in present music notation.

Požadavky k udělení zápočtu: Znalost probrané látky (notace písmenné, akcentické, neumové, nota choralis), schopnost identifikace jednotlivých notačních systému a znalost zásad jejich přepisu. Znalost titulů zadané literatury.
