- Course objectives
- Italian literature from the 20th century. Naturalism, the avant-garde movement in Italian iterature, Palazzeschi and the futurism. Modern roman and poetry.

- V kurzu budou probírány základní jevy italské literatury 20. století. Přechod od naturalismu k symbolismu a dekadenci. Giovanni Pascoli, Gabriele D'Annunzio. Moderní román: Luigi Pirandello, Italo Svevo, Federigo Tozzi. Avantgardní směry: krepuskolarismus, futurismus. Florentské časopisy. Meziválečná poezie a hermetismus: Giuseppe Ungaretti, Eugenio Montale, Umberto Saba.
