Course objectives
The objective of the seminars is to read and analyse major works of British literature of the late Victorian era and the first half of the 20th century. Authors: G. K. Chesterton, Joseph Conrad, T. S. Eliot, E. M. Forster, John Galsworthy, Graham Greene, Thomas Hardy, G. M. Hopkins, James Joyce, Rudyard Kipling, D. H. Lawrence, George Orwell, Ezra Pound, J. B. Priestley, G. B. Shaw, J. M. Synge, Dylan Thomas, Evelyn Waugh, Oscar Wilde, Virginia Woolf, W. B. Yeats
