Course objectives
The seminar is focused on interpretationof chosen works, both Czech and foreign.
Syllabus
  • 1.A classical tale and its paraphrase for children. 2. Poetics of fairy tales. 3. Humor and detective story in the literature for young adults. 4. Astrid Lindgren. 5. Adventures in the literature. 6. Changes of the view on nature in the literature for young adults. 7. An adolescent heroine. 8. Similarities of the literature for adults and young adults. 9. Creating of a world of myths. 10. Critics of the literature for young adults.
