- Course objectives
- Slovak literature was never really well known in our country and especially after the breakdown of the federal state the knowledge is getting even worse. It is above all true about poetry, which is everywhere on margin of readers interest. This seminar wants to point at certain aspects of Slovak literature and literary life and especially at particular authors and texts, which are still fairly accessible for the Czech readers and in no respect inferior to the Czech literary production.
- Syllabus
- The seminar will consist of presenting students contributions to the theme and their discussions, reading and interpretation of texts and discussing related questions. The themes will be offered at the opening seminar following the interest of students. It is advisable for the students to prepare themselves for the opening seminar by reading literature from the lsit of readings.
