Course objectives
The course aims at giving the students the basic instruments for analysing narrative texts.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Úvod do naratologie. Základní témata: mimesis a diegesis; autor a čtenář; fabule a sujet; vypravěč; fokalizace; čas - frekvence, pořádek, trvání; zobrazení řeči; postava. Praktická část: aplikace teoretických poznatků na konkrétní texty, rozbor povídek.
