Tento jednosemestrální kurz se zaměřuje na různé teorie publikované v 18. a 19. století. Základem jsou pak názory Quantze, Kocha, Türka a Czerneho. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována vztahu Andante-Andantino v hudbě druhé poloviny 18. století.
