Course objectives
The aim of this course is to make students familiar with functions and different ways of computer use. It concentrates on practical skills. Students should gain basic knowledge by means of computer exercises. Using of a mouse and a keyboard, activating some applications in multi-functional operating systems, basic overview of hardware from the point of a user, orientation in computer networks, expecially WWW, ability to manage error situations etc. Students encountering a particular program should be able to use it quite quickly.
