Course objectives
Some questions of art in Bohemia during the Jagiellonian era (1471-1526) in the ontext of contemporary developments in central Europe. Special attention will be devoted to the problem of "transition" , or rather differentiation, between Late Gothic and Renaissance.
Syllabus
  • 1. defining the Jagiellonian era and realitonship between art and dynasty 2. critical survey of art hsitorical approaches 3. borederline between Gothic and Reanissance 4. northern Renaisssace, Donauschule 5. Utraquism and art 6. representation of the Estates 7. possibilities of "stylistic unity" (architecture)

Přednáška vedená diskusní formou. Hodnocení na základě předloženého odborného textu v rozsahu min. 5 NS s poznámkovým aparátem na téma vypsané před ukončením kurzu.
