Course objectives
Two kinds of the inflexional type of the old Indo-European languages are presupposed: a derivative and a paradigmatic inflection. The grammatical systemes of historically attested I-E languages are interpreted as resulting from a processus of paradigmatization of a non attested derivative-inflectional stage.
