Course objectives
The course is dedicated to issues connected with a rendering of poems and prose to the dramatic-text form. Participants of the seminar will analyze dramatization techniques and methods, as well as shifts in meaning, style, time and space taking place between the artwork and the target dramatization product. On the basis of perused literature, students will try to summarize and eventually formulate common patterns of the dramatization process.

Dietl), 4) Osudy dobrého vojáka Švejka za světové války (J. Hašek, E.F. Burian), 5) Rozmarné léto (V. Vančura, E. Sokolovský), 6) Pekař Jan Marhoul (V. Vančura, J. Kačer), 7) Život a dílo skladatele Foltýna (K. Čapek, F. Pavlíček), 8) Válka s mloky (K. Čapek, P. Kohout), 9) Vstanou noví bojovníci (A. Zápotocký, J. Nezval), 10) Ostře sledované vlaky (B. Hrabal, I. Krobot), 11) Obsluhoval jsem anglického krále (B. Hrabal, I. Krobot, P. Oslzlý), 12) Romance pro křídlovku (F. Hrubín, M. Pivovar).
