- The knowledge of Latin, which is required for B. A. State Exam in Latin Language and Literature; students of other specializations than Latin should finish the basic Latin course first.

- Course objectives
- Students acquaint themselves with some Latin texts written by John Huss' predecessors: Konrad Waldhauser, Milic from Kromeriz and Matej from Janov. The texts will be interpreted and some comments will be made about their language (specific form of the Czech medieval Latin, lexicon), content (historical sense and ideological purpose) and literary qualities (genology, style, rhetoric, topoi etc.).
