Course objectives
beginning course of 2-4 semesters long course of Sanskrit, including devanagari writing system, phonology of sanskrit with sandhi, declination of a, á, i, í, u, ú nouns, thematic verbs in indicative, imperative and optative
Syllabus
  • 1. lesson - writing, ligatures, deklination of a-stems m. and n. 2. lesson - conjugation of thematic verbs in indicative of present - active 3. lesson - conjugation of thematic verbs of indicative of present - middle 4. lesson - conjugation of thematic verbs of imperfect active 5. lesson - conjugation of thematic verbs of imperfect middle 6. lesson - conjugation of pasive 7. lesson - declination of vowel stems(i a u- stems) 8. lesson - sandhi 9. lesson - conjugation of imperative akt. and mid. 10. lesson - conjugation of optativu akt. and mid. 11. lesson - declination of vowel stems(í a ú- stems) 12. lesson - causative
