Kromě zájmu o vyprofilovanou dramaturgii předmětu naznačenou níže (Informace učitele) je kvůli filmům v původním znění s titulky nezbytná znalost angličtiny.

Course objectives (in Czech)
Náplní seminářů jsou videoprojekce (filmy, operní a baletní představení, dokumenty, koncerty), vždy s odborným úvodním výkladem. Cílem semináře je rozšíření kulturního obzoru posluchačů. Seminář je realizován ve večerních hodinách, jeho rozsah je tříhodinový, ovšem díky délce jednotlivých uměleckých děl se může trvání značně lišit. Výstupem k získání kolokvia bude esej o probíraných tématech v rozsahu dvou až čtyř normostran (3600 až 7200 znaků).
