- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- This course is focused on cross connection between European and American music in the first half of the 20th century. It survey european activities in America in the field of musical composition and also interpretation. At the same time it engage in infiltration of "americanism" into the creativity of Czech and European composers. America as a harbour for many european musicians is a very interesting sociological phenomenon.
