- Course objectives
- The course continues the Central European related La Tène instruction gone through in cycle I of the study. It brings about new findings to the entire territory of the Celtic presence, including Asia Minor. Lectures based on the territorial principle prevail over thematic cycles that are only selective because of time limitations. Attention is paid not only to the Celts themselves and their cultural manifestations but also to civilizations and ethnics, with which the Celts have entered into many-sided contacts. The cultural and historical life and customs of the latter half of the 1st millennium BC are accompanied by a vast collection of slides illustrating the material culture.
