Course objectives
A comparative study of French and Czech, written expression, résumé, essay, culture.
Syllabus
  • Apart from regular textbook usage, the importance of work with authentic texts should not be underestimated: newspaper articles, radio broadcasts and similar audio recordings, video recordings, literary excerpts. In terms of oral expression, emphasis is placed on alertness and range of expression. In terms of individual written expression, special emphasis is devoted to the command of basic written forms such as "résumé", "commentaire" and "rédaction".

Assessment methods
Examination - written test. Group project focusing on a journalistic topic - current events or interview. Seminar attendance is mandatory.
