Course objectives
The seminar is dedicated to the practice of translating from French into Czech of texts of various themes and registers. Through analysis of concrete texts the definition of translation methods is achieved.

  • 1) Translation of "Histoires naturelles" by Jules Renard. 2) Translation of"Félicie est là" by Georges Simenon.

Exam - for work in the seminar and for submitted translations. The translation submitted by 31.1. will be considered as submitted in due term, translation submitted i February as a re-sit.
