Course objectives
The course is designed as a prerequisite for the course Field Practice in Ecological and Global Education which is dealing only with methodology of educational treatment of ecological issues and not the with the issues themselves. The participants will be introduced to different perspectives of contemporary ecological issues. The course proceeds from global to national ecological problems and discusses possibilities for solutions at a level of individuals. Besides a factual part which is composed of insights into respective topics, students will approach ecological topics also in forms of activities and games. The course has an interactive form and requires students’ active participation.
