- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to learn the specific procedures for the paraphrasing, analysis, commenting and evaluation of philosophical text. Based on attentively reading and analysis of Descartes' Meditation on First philosophy student become familiar not only with the actual purpose of the selected text, but also with the obligations imposed on the author and the critical reader of philosophical text.

- Type of teaching: seminar
Completion: a condition of achieving credit is active participation in seminars, the criteria of ending are subject to completion of the number of students in the seminar group End: a precondition for achieving credit is to obtain at least 30 points. Necessary points can be obtained from several sources: homework (up to 4x3p.) Meaningful activity at the seminar (up to 10x3p.) Final exercises (up to 1x20p.). It is up to you how to get the required number of points, attendance is not required. Please note that accreditation is awarded for activity during the whole semester, not for passing the single final test: the final exercise, therefore, will not be possible to re-write. - Language of instruction
