- Course objectives
- Lecture brings basic geographical, social, political, and economic characteristics of contemporary Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, giving information covering life and institutions of all three above mentioned countries and with characteristic life elements of modern Serbian and Montenegro nations (partially also Bosnian one). At the end of this course the student should be capable to explain the situation of contemporary Serbian ethnical area in comprehensive complexity would be able of orienting in Serbian geography and may interpret Serbian social-economic life.

- Historical and geographic structure of Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Ethnical structure of inhabitants, its historical causes, problems of minorities.
- Mačva and Šumadije.
- Eastern Serbia.
- Southern Serbia.
- Novopazarski sandžak.
- Autonomous region of Vojvodina
- Problem of Kosovo and Metohia.
- Montenegro, its tribal structure, problem of Serbian ethnicity and Montenegro statehood.
- Current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
