Course objectives
The main attention is focused on the reading of the most progressive authors of serbian literature of the late 20th century, and the way how they are appreciated by the contemporary literaty critics. Therefore, emphasis will be placed also on the wide range of writing strategies. Student will be informed not only about the their positon in serbian literatury , but also about the wider (interliterary) connections and the contexts as well. Texts of these authors will be read: Miodrag Bulatović, Aleksandar Tišma, Pavle Ugrinov, Borislav Pekić, Danilo Kiš, Mirko Kovač, Milorad Pavić, David Albahari, Svetislav Bazara,Radoslav Petković and Dragan Velikić. Students may propose some of other names, which they find interesting.
