- This is the first part of the four-semester course of Latvian language. This course is meant primarily for practicing Latvian grammar and vocabulary, as there is another course (BA431) meant solely for the practicing of Latvian conversation.
- Syllabus
- In this semester, we present a brief outlook of Latvian history and work with 1) Latvian noun cases and 2) present verb tense.
- The vocabulary taught this semester consists of 1) family 2) professions 3) basic conversation phrases 4) languages.
