Prerequisites
In order to be admitted to the seminar, the student must successfully complete the 4th semester of his studies, obtain the prescribed amount of credits and fulfill the prescribed reading.

Course objectives
The student attends Minor B.A. Thesis Seminar by his supervisor. The supervisors avialable are: Bartoňková (ancient literature), Bartoněk (Greek and Latin), Nechutová, Bednaříková (ancient history), Radová (ancient literature), Urbanová (Latin), Petrovićová (ancient literature); there is no defence of the Minor B.A. Thesis, see the study regulations.
Syllabus
  • A student, who has chosen the topic for his Minor B.A. Thesis from the offer of individual teachers, attends the Minor B.A. Thesis Seminar and consults his work with his supervisor. This includes the method and the outline of the thesis, adequate literature, technical properties of the thesis and issues pertaining to the topic assigned.

Individual advisor-student tutorial in metodology of writing the minor B. A. thesis: synopsis, introduction, methods of text analysis, argumentation and conclusion.
