Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain the basic issues in the politics and culture of the Dutch speaking countries.

Teaching methods
Within the class a combination of teacher-led activities and student-orientated learning activities.

3 tests during the term 30%, translations during the term 60%, final written test + translation 10%
