- Course objectives
- Course Goals: Become knowledgeable about systems nature of family functioning, become familiar with models of family functioning. Students should be sensitive to the variability of family functioning and able to interpret data within specific context (cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic, spiritual etc.). Be introduced to family assessment and diagnostics (both clinical and test methods). Learn to perceive family assessment as a prerequisite of effective family therapy and family counselling. Become aware of methodological aspects of family studies; examples of family and parenthood researches.

- 2) Systeme approach to family.

- 4) Models of family functioning.
- 5) Methodological specifics in family research.
- 6) Principals of family-assessment.
- 7) Clinical methods in family-assessment.
- 8) Tests in family-assessment.
- 9) Theories of family-stress and its coping.
- 10) Family resilence.
- 11) Family crise.
- 12) Study of different types of parenting and family.
